Recently we took on Miles and Wade for a weekend to enable Robert and Lisa to go prance around like teenagers. Well it seems the teenagers did well, both sets of them. Miles and Wade are always good company for us and its sweet how Miles is also a good big brother. Wade knows what he likes (first time I got to watch Taylor Swift videos!) and is pretty content listening to music or playing silly games with me. It was an easy weekend for us, and an enjoyable time. The weather was warm, providing a lovely evening walk. Plus with our encouragement and his interest and trust, Wade was able to conquer the stairs to Dexter's room several times. I like how the cats seek him out despite how Wade can occasionally love them too much, but they trust him. Animals are sort of like Tribbles in Star Trek; if you have kindness and love, they don't mind you. They might even like you. If you have malice, they know it.
